Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rural surveyor to join our estate management & consultancy team.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of both private and institutional estates & working on projects for our retained consultancy clients as part of an experienced team.
You’ll be based out of our Worcester office, and the successful candidate will be able to:
- Identify tasks and prioritise the delivery of work both independently and as part of a team.
- Consider typical property management challenges and generate potential solutions.
- Work with systems and processes and meet deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in a manner appropriate to the task and audience.
- Demonstration of CDM & Health and Safety as it applies to the estate management sector.
- Liaise with and administer contractors and other professionals when delivering projects & tasks for our clients.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of landlord and tenant relationships,, legislation and best practice guidance.
- Accurately draft leases and licences over agricultural and commercial property.
- Be MRICS or working towards a suitable property-based accreditation.
- Have knowledge/experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.

Team Overview
The Worcester Rural management team provides advice and management services on a wide range of property and rural business matters on large & diverse portfolios of agricultural, commercial and residential property & national operational estates.
Our clients include private clients and strategically held institutional let & in-hand portfolios across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties. The team comprises a Director, an Associate and a Property Manager and the office also provides Tourism and Leisure, Food & Farming and Forestry Management services.
The wider Rural division operates across the UK, with a network of 37 offices and a number of estate offices from Inverness in the North to Truro in the South-West
