Role Overview
We have a great opportunity for a bright, ambitious and qualified Senior Surveyor to join our London Development team. This is a successful and expanding team specialising in complex, large scale residential-led, mixed-use development sites across London.
We are seeking a candidate who is commercially astute, with either a transactional or advisory background. We require a diverse and practical skillset, that is adaptable to suit our clients’ needs.
The candidate must have a deep interest in regeneration and the wider benefits this brings, a solutions focused mindset, and be enthusiastic yet patient. The candidate must be interested in challenging projects with the ability to think long term, whilst retaining a focus on how to best to extract value for clients.
The role requires an adaptable skillset to cater to our clients’ requirements, which can vary depending on which stage of the development process the client is at. Examples of work we undertake include: feasibility studies across a wide range of use classes; detailed scheme pricing; development appraisals; investor, board or funding reports; target market and demographic reports and development strategies.
Projects are complex and long term and invariably require cross-team support including working with other sector specific teams at Savills, as well as external consultants. Therefore it is important the candidate enjoys building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally. The candidate will also be a team player, helping grow the consultancy offering both within the business and increasing our team’s exposure to a broader set of clients externally.

Team Overview
We are an advisory team providing consultancy services on London’s most exciting regeneration projects, including Brent Cross Town, Canada Water, and Television Centre. We also are appointed advisors to the largest institutions such as Landsec, British Land and URW (Westfield), and public bodies such as Places for London (TfL) and Network Rail. We work closely with transactional teams, in particular Development Land, Residential Operational Capital Markets and Commercial Development.
The successful candidate will join our newly establish specialist team, reporting to the Head of London Mixed Use and working alongside an Associate and our team secretary. Our specialist team sits within the London Development Land team of 20 people.
