Rural Assistant
Role Overview
Opportunity to join the Savills Rural Management Consultancy team in Edinburgh. The role is to support, assist and co-ordinate a dynamic consultancy team who work with a wide variety of rural and property clients. With a unique and varied workload, the role requires someone with an interest and or background in the rural sector. The role will best suit an individual who is proactive, passionate and inquisitive and someone who is motivated to develop and add value to the team and to develop their career.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in client work and take on responsibilities with rural/property management and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
• Co-ordinate team, jobs and correspondence.
• Provide administrative support to the team in managing clients.
• Assist with client relationships, management of rural contractors and liaison with tenants.
• Assist with the management of property databases, compliance data and create and maintain electronic files and records.
• Complete, circulate and track leases and other land and property documents.
• Arrange diary invitations and facilitate meeting arrangements.
• General administration, management meeting preparation and following up meeting actions. The individual would work within the wider admin team to ensure that full support is given to all departments within the office. As such, general admin duties are included within the role.
Key Skills
• Understanding of the rural sector and property management desirable.
• Excellent IT skills using MS Office package, especially Excel and Word
• Good communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Working within a team but able to take responsibility and undertake work on own initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
Team Overview
The Scotland management team are based in Edinburgh, Perth and Dumfries. An opening has arisen for an Estate Administrator to support a dynamic, exciting and busy Estate Management team. The team provides core management and consultancy services in the rural, agricultural and residential sectors. With a unique and varied workload, the role requires someone proactive and who wishes to make a difference to the team. This role will be based in Edinburgh.
The role would suit someone able to work at a fast accurate pace, and is able to work to provide an effective support role.
