Credit Control Team Leader
The role of the Credit Control Team Leader will be to provide support to the Credit Control Manager in the delivery of the Credit Control function for UK Property Management.
Role Overview
The role of the Credit Control Team Leader will be to provide support to the Credit Control Manager in the delivery of the Credit Control function for UK Property Management. Responsible for the day to day management and supervision of a team of 5 Credit Controllers
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the Credit Control Team ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
The below details further tasks that the team are responsible for, but not limited to:
- Training, Development and Coaching of Credit Control Team
- Daily Team Management and instructions
- Performance Reporting
- Assist with daily banking and manage team through the process
- Assist with managing and driving down UAC and Suspense
- Assist with the implementation of the Savills & Clients Credit Control Policy
- Perform regular 1-2-1s and Appraisals, working closely with the Credit Control Manager,
- Monitoring and driving down internal KPI’s
- Manage own portfolio reducing client debt
- Work with Surveyors and Client Accountants to deliver excellent client service
- Chasing payment using the telephone and email (high volume)
- Dealing with and resolving Escalations and Tenant queries
- Recommending remedy/action on recovery of problem tenant debts
- Reconciliation of problem accounts
- Management of query resolution, chasing colleagues where required
- Develop and maintain active communication both within the Treasury team and other internal departments,
- Attend arrears calls as required.

Team Overview
The Credit Control team consists of twenty three credit controllers who each manage a portfolio of tenant accounts, supported by four team leaders & the credit control manager. The team work within a fast paced environment, ensuring a strong collaberative relationships with colleagues to in order to exceed client expectations & company set KPI’s
