Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join a busy management team in the south west.
The role will involve managing let and in-hand property and enterprises of various types, including residential, commercial, agricultural, forestry and sporting. As part of the management role the candidate will be required to carry out property management, leasing and letting, landlord and tenant, sales, rentals and provide strategic advice to clients.
There is an opportunity to build upon an existing body of work and develop further clients and contacts across the region. This role is full time and flexible working will be considered with some ability to work from home depending on client and team requirements.
This requirement arises to replace a surveyor but we are interested in hearing from a range of potential candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day running of rural estates and property.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to diversify, increase income and improve clients' assets.
- Deal with compliance, maintenance and refurbishments of various asset types.
- Organise re-letting, rent reviews and negotiating lease renewals.
- Building rapport with colleagues, clients, other professionals, tenants, contractors and suppliers.
- Identifying new opportunities, both for clients and Savills.
- Raising personal and team profile in the region and cross selling Savills services.
Key Skills
- Must be MRICS qualified.
- Ideally 2+ years PQE.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent relationship, management and communication skills
- Team player.
- Organised and reliable.
- The ability to deal with conflict and provide resolution.
- Self-motivated, goal driven and the ability to prioritise work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Energetic and enthusiastic and able to think on feet.
- Good financial and commercial acumen, with ability to vary approach dependent on circumstances.
- Excellent administration and time management skills.
- Autonomous – able to take sole responsibility for instructions from start to finish
Team Overview
The successful candidate will be joining the Savills Bath office; a multi-disciplinary rural and residential office. The Estate Management team specialises in providing strategic and day to day management advice to a variety of clients. We are passionate about providing a high level of service and we do this by investing in our people to enable them to fulfil their aspirations and to succeed within the business.
