An exciting opportunity to join Savills as our Sustainability Manager.
Role Overview :
We are recruiting for a Sustainability Manager to help deliver our ambitious Sustainability strategy. The role will work closely with the UK Sustainability Director in developing, driving forward and reporting on; environmental, social and governance initiatives across our business of 8000 staff across the UK. The role will involve collaboration within company staff at all levels and with external stakeholders, data analysis, project management and reporting. The successful candidate for this role will have reporting, project management and data analytical skills and a good knowledge of corporate sustainability.
Team Overview :
The position sits within the Corporate Sustainability Team for Savills UK. The team is managed by the UK Sustainability Director, and works closely with the UK Senior Management team and UK Board Members. The position will work with staff in all areas of the Savills UK business, which offers varied services across 18 Divisions including consulting, research, property management and sales and lettings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Undertake specific tasks relating to the UK Sustainability strategy, taking ownership for ensuring progress is made on specific targets.
- Support the internal/corporate elements of RFP responses and pitches relating to the sustainability aspects for all 18 Divisions, as required.
- Manage and improve the UK data sets, and assist in related reporting / projects.
- Annual Sustainability reporting for UK.
- Internal behavioural change projects and internal staff messaging on sustainability
Key Skills :
- Technical knowledge of Sustainability Reporting and Strategy.
- Completely IT literate, numerate and experienced with data analysis with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to validate and analyse large data sets in a timely and effective manner.
- Strong attention to detail and produces work to a high, consistent and accurate standard.
- Ability to develop lasting and effective relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Excellent communicator and presenter with strong writing skills.
- Highly motivated individual – with drive for self-development.
- Excellent time management - for role with high variety to suit a proficient multi-tasker. Can deliver work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
- Resourceful team worker, with ability to be autonomous in certain specialist fields.
- An evident passion for Sustainability.
- Good English, grammar, spelling and document checking skills.
