Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Natural Capital Services team and help facilitate nature recovery across the South of England.

Key Responsibilities

• To work directly with the regional Head of Natural Capital in the delivery of a wide range of nature based schemes, covering Kent to Cornwall.
• Working alongside our landowner and developer clients on a multitude of opportunities within this new and exciting sector, creating viable and diverse revenue streams. Areas of particular interest will include, but are not limited to:- Biodiversity Net Gain, Nutrient Neutrality, Carbon Sequestration and Regenerative Agriculture
• Engage fully with the Natural Capital markets, staying abreast of emerging policy and feeding this back to the wider Natural Capital team.

Key Skills

• Qualified and experienced in Rural Estate Management.
• A working knowledge and/or keen interest in Natural Capital and the delivery of environmental offset schemes particularly relating to Nutrient Neutrality and Biodiversity Net Gain.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and appetite for deal making.
• A sound understanding of the principles of environmental land management.
• A team player, keen to be an active participant in a young and vibrant team. A diligent approach and a keen eye for detail.

Team Overview 

Savills benefits from a diverse and substantial rural client base covering some 3.5 million acres across the UK. Coupled with this we have large planning, development and investment management divisions. We have clear oversight of both the issues and the solutions from start to finish and are actively working alongside our respective clients to deliver best-in-class nature based solutions.

Our Natural Capital team is scaling up rapidly to deal with this demand and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our southern team, based in the central South area.
