Assistant Rural Negotiator
We are looking for an energetic individual to join a busy team specialising in the purchase and sale of farms and estates across the East Midlands based from the Lincoln Office.
Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic individual to join a busy team specialising in the purchase and sale of farms and estates across the East Midlands. This role will be office based from our Lincoln Office.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update REAPIT software to ensure accurate record keeping of instructions, internet listings and buyer databases. Suitable training will be given if required.
• Help with gathering information, creating data rooms and analysis of documentation as a part of bringing rural properties to the market.
• Undertake viewings and meeting with clients.
• Taking the lead on smaller sales and being the principal point of contact for clients throughout the sale process.
• Creative writing of brochure details and preparation of brochures and online material with attention to detail.
• Responsibility for managing and maintaining agency compliance and for organising compliance procedures to ensure 100% pass rate on internal and external audits.
• Preparation of pitch documentation and pitch reports both on Word and PowerPoint.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date diaries for the agency team; book, arrange and undertake viewings where appropriate and arrange travel, and hotel bookings.
• Arranging and designing advertisements for national and local publications
• Organise social events including sourcing venues, negotiating costs and arranging travel for all parties
• Assisting team generally and proactively deal with administrative matters to free up their time.
Key Skills
• Produce accurate documentation to deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and up to date filing.
• Maintain accurate and up to date contact lists.
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner and redirect or take a message efficiently and accurately.
• Communicating effectively with clients.
• Capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Agricultural and countryside knowledge is an advantage
Team Overview
The team consists of an associate covering the East Midlands while working in tandem with the Northern Agency team based in York. The team also works closely with colleagues in other departments and offices locally, nationally and internationally
