Apprentice Team Assistant

About this role
Day to Day work will include:
- New file creation for Telford / Lichfield / Chester drives
- Manage and maintain mail manager for team
- Monitor central email inbox - for all voicemails. Circulate team emails re. relevant issues
- Dealing with incoming and out-going post - for both Telford and Chester
- Book meeting rooms for the team
- Answer phones / take messages for the team and raise works orders in APR as a result of call (where possible)
- Create purchase orders for the team - My Purchasing
- Assist with creating and sending of letters (mail merge) i.e. winter letters / rent reviews / arrears letter to tenants
- Printing and binding of management reports/ agreements/ leases etc
- Liaising with utility companies
- Continual review and management of online filing system
- Take minutes / note action points at meetings (Internal) and circulate to team
- CRM Dynamics (D365) & AX Billing Portal maintenance
- Manage timesheet user
- Updating contracts
- Amend projects and update fee forecasts
- Assist with quarterly billing
- Prepare Monthly/ quarterly invoices / auto fee invoices
- Gain a strong understanding of APR to assist the Rural Estates Administrator
- Assist in all Ad hoc projects as and when required.
About the Team
The Rural, Energy and Projects division operate across a UK network of 37 offices and a number of estate offices from Inverness in the North to Truro in the South-West. Our services cover, architecture, building consultancy, rural planning, estate management, forestry (investment and management), professional consultancy (tax, valuation, expert witness), farms and estate sales and purchasing, food and farming, renewable energy, energy brokerage, minerals, mapping and strategic projects.
The office is located within Telford Town Centre. You will be supporting the Rural Estate Management Team who are split across Telford and Chester office. Although primarily located in the Telford office, flexibility will be required to travel to the Chester office on a regular basis. The Rural Estate Management Team provide a comprehensive estate management service, from ad hoc advice to full management. We work closely with owners of all sizes of estates, whether they comprise 50 acres or thousands of acres, helping to efficiently manage their business.
How you’ll make an impact
Good communication and organisational skills are vital to succeed as an Apprentice. You will need the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy office, working as part of a team while also having the ability to use your own initiative and be passionate about delivering the best service possible for your team and clients.
English and Maths GCSE grade 4 and above is a mandatory requirement.
Training
Data Essentials Level 3. Full training and support will be given.
