Associate, Operational Capital Markets
We are looking for an experienced professional to work with institutional clients and investors on advisory, capital raising, and consulting mandates in the growing Senior Living & Healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing transaction deliverables, including marketing materials, pitches / proposals, investment memorandums, and other client and market-facing collateral;
• Analysing and presenting complex financial data and real estate due diligence;
• Conducting financial analysis and preparing bespoke financial models for real estate backed operating businesses and development joint ventures;
• Conducting market analyses including demographic and competitive analyses and market research assignments;
• Assisting on executing transactions across healthcare and senior housing and working on buy-side and sell-side marketing processes;
• Taking responsibility for project management and administration to support team members in executing transactions and delivering exceptional client service and deliverables;
• Delegating work to and helping to develop Analysts;
• Liaising and negotiating with clients, investors, and other industry stakeholders;
• Collaborating with colleagues across the business on client mandates and pitches;
• Building strong business relationships, both internally and externally;
• Contributing to business development effort, identifying and supporting in winning new mandates;
• Participating in divisional and sector working group meetings and follow ups;
• Contributing to improving internal processes to drive efficiencies;
• Willing to get involved in all aspects of the department and evidence good team working skills is a necessity.
Key Skills
• Transactional experience within the living sectors (advantageous but not essential)
• Proven track record of working and transacting with institutional clients on investment, development, and/or capital raising opportunities
• Self-starting and ambitious
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

The growing team consists of 8 sector specialists within OCM's 100+ person division, working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
