Our St. John's Wood office is offering a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC), to work as a Receptionist. You'll be the first point of contact for anyone visiting or calling into the office and assisting them with their enquiries. In addition to ensuring that everyone receives a first-class experience and service, the successful candidate will be required to support the Sales and Lettings teams with general administration and occasional projects.
Although currently a FTC, we are always keen to retain talented people so it is highly likely you would be able to continue in a similar role; alternatively, if you are interested in a career in estate agency then this is a good place to start and learn about the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Being the first point of contact both face to face and on the telephone for clients, professional contacts, employees, tenants, suppliers, etc.
- Responsible for managing meeting room requirements
- Responsible for managing all car parking requirements
- Responsible for all incoming and outgoing post
- Maintaining weekly, monthly and daily records
- Ensuring the front of house areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Raising PO Numbers and processing invoices
- Updating and maintaining the Receptionist Processes and Procedures Manual
- Assisting the Office Co-ordinator and Office Manager with ad hoc tasks and/or projects
This is not an exhaustive list, in addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Technical experience:-
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Educated to GCSE level and above
Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience in performing a Receptionist role
- A proven track record in providing excellent customer service and administrative support
- Confidentiality and discretion in dealing with all aspects of the role
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Pro-active and flexible approach to work
- Strong team player: builds relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes trust and credibility
- Diplomatic, friendly and approachable
