This a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team of Building Surveyors, Architects and Technicians covering the South East of England.
The role requires you to take ownership of key projects and be able to operate both independently and as part of a team.

A busy and respected team of architects, building surveyors and architectural technicians working in central and southeast England on many managed estates and private client work. Clients vary from institutional, charity and private clients with varying types of portfolios mainly in the domestic arena.
With increased enquiries in the southeast, we wish to bolster our offer and based in our Sevenoaks office should do this well, aligned with our two other architectural and building surveying offices in Petworth and Winchester.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
• Contract administration and project monitoring
• Building surveys and report writing
• Schedules of Condition and planning preventative maintenance programmes.
• CAD skills are desirable in either Archicad, Revit, or AutoCad being the systems used within the team (training will be available)
• Preparing tenders and contract documents
• Advising on appointing contractors, designers and procurement routes
• Preparing scheme designs, specifications of works and schedules of dilapidations
• Advising on the preservation/conservation of historic buildings
• Knowledge of CDM2015 and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
• Strong written communication and report writing skills with good attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Able to manage individual instructions, build client relationships and provide an outstanding level of client care
• Practical understanding of buildings
• Skill and knowledge of working on historic buildings
• Strategic approach to problem solving
Technical experience:-
• MRICS, CIOB, CIAT, or equivalent qualification
• Good understanding of CDM and health and safety regulations

• Excellent relationship builder to generate business from existing colleagues and new enquiries
